Alexandra Vogt, born in Mussenhausen, Unterallgäu, in 1970, is known for her suggestive depictions of horses and pubescent girls. Her installations, photographs, paintings, and video works deal with the repressed, the erotic, the romantic, with yearning, puberty, injuries, and fear. For the KUB Billboards she selected works from the years 2000 to 2008, six pieces that shed light on and call into question the mythos of beast and man.
