almost a moth went by since we did the last updates on the diary-pages. few days left and weĞll do de deconstruction! about 30.000 people visited the NAVE. much more than we thought. we imagined that the closed, huge egg with its strange stairway would invite only few people to come up - only the brave arties - but almost everybody got nosy and wanted to know whats in here. the only group of people wich did not come up where the punks, wich are hanging round everyday. they didĞnt even ask what this is all about...for them the hole exhibition "kunst in der stadt" must be organized by the "damed establishment" - a pitty those people are as "spiessig", as the people they criticize! this worked because of a chain of happy chances and open people played together and helped us!
the last days got quiet, because it was raining and the air cooled down, so we had time for several extra-invitations and shows.
we get stress because marCo and Carlos canĞt help during the deconstruction of NAVE. weĞre out of money and should do some comercial website urgently... we calculate and buy a computer from the firm TIP which sponsored the digi-equipments. they give us a 200MHZmachine for a very low prize, so we can do this site later in any other room...
7th of september - the exhibition ends. on the 8th Teresa and i (tOmi) are cutting the silverskin down from NAVEs body. we need about 8 hours. than we got 250 pieces, on which we will print a silkscreen-edition next week. at the same time weĞre layouting the little catalogue we wanna do...Michael Tuertscher from the agency Baschnegger does the grafic design. what a great experience to let a designer do it! its the first time we give this work to somebody else...
