The Porsche Takes a Break
In 2006, as part of his exhibition at Kunsthaus Bregenz, Vorarlberg artist Gottfried Bechtold lined up eleven concrete Porsche sculptures from his ensemble Elf Elf on Karl-Tizian-Platz. Now, due to the upcoming renovation works at the Vorarlberger Landestheater, the concrete Porsche will temporarily leave its usual location. Throughout the construction period, which is expected to continue until summer 2027, access to Kunsthaus Bregenz will remain unaffected.
New KUB Editions by KOO JEONG A and Cyprien Gaillard
Originally presented in the KUB exhibition LAND OF OUSSS [ GRAVITTA ], KOO JEONG A’s edition features two photographs of the Alps taken from an airplane and is available as a set. Cyprien Gaillard’s O (The Empty Hollow) combines flute mouthpieces with zero-euro banknotes. Both editions are available now.

KOO JEONG A – LAND OF OUSSS [ GRAVITTA ]
KOO JEONG A’s works create a delicate balance between the visible and the invisible, subtly challenging our perception of space and time. Exhibition views, reproduced using only silver and black, enter into dialogue with poetic text fragments by the Italian author Federico Nicolao. Together, they create a space in which the works presented in Bregenz can fully unfold their impact.

The “House” Moves to Switzerland
In late 2025 Kunsthaus Bregenz opened an international call for proposals presenting concepts for the reuse of the “House” from the previous exhibition ███████. The parasitic object was on view at KUB until January 18, 2026, and is to continue to be used as an artist's residence and exhibition space at City SALTS on the outskirts of Basel. A jury and ███████ selected the project out of some fifty submissions.

Kunsthaus Bregenz reaches another goal in terms of sustainability: The Institution is now officially part of the Austrian Ecolabel.
