Since the sudden death of his beloved wife, 75-year-old Germain feels patronized by his children. Therefore, he keeps a secret from his family: the unusual promise he made to his wife shortly before her death — to take her place in a modern dance ensemble. The secret rehearsals and Germain’s double life lead to numerous misunderstandings, resulting in a touching and humorous plea for a self-determined life in old age.
