Opening on Friday, July 11, at 7 pm, Kunsthaus Bregenz

In summer 2025, three outstanding artistic voices will come together at Kunsthaus Bregenz: on view in the foyer will be works by the British Kenyan painter Michael Armitage, the late Austrian artist Maria Lassnig, and the Kenyan sculptor Chelenge Van Rampelberg. Michael Armitage curated the selection himself.

The exhibition opens on Friday, July 11, at 7 pm. To mark the occasion, a specially produced limited edition print of Maria Lassnig’s painting Einen Hund besitzen will be available exclusively at the KUB shop. The work, painted in vibrant colors in 1976, is part of the KUB Collection.

The exhibition Małgorzata Mirga-Tas – Tełe Ćerhenia Jekh Jag, on view on the upper floors, will remain open during the exhibition installation. Throughout July and August, KUB will also be open on Mondays. On Saturday, July 12, Michael Armitage and KUB Director Thomas D. Trummer will meet for an Artist Talk.
