    Over the summermonths, Kunsthaus Bregenz is presenting works by the next Austrian Biennale representative from the KUB Collection, Anna Jermolaewa. A preview of the show and a conversation between Jermolaewa and KUB Director Thomas D. Trummer will be held on July 10 at 6.30 pm.

    "An alien lives in our midst. (...)Who is this ultimate shapeshifter lurking in the background of our lives? The name of this omnipresent being is Oil." The exhibition comprises entirely new works conceived for Kunsthaus Bregenz, that follow in-depth research, forms and ideas developed by Monira Al Qadiri over the last decade around the subject of oil, culminating in this body of work.

    The KUB billboards located on Seestraße, the main thoroughfare in Bregenz, are an integral part of Kunsthaus Bregenz’s program, extending each KUB exhibition into public space. Monira Al Qadiri will be displaying six photographs on the KUB Billboards. Iridescent surfaces, pearl-like half spheres, an colorful shapes entice the viewer into wondering what these images are.

    VALIE EXPORT »Oh Lord, Don't Let Them Drop That Atomic Bomb on Me«

    In connection with the KUB project by VALIE EXPORT an LP came out. Jazz pianist Peter Madsen newly arranged and recorded a version of Charles Mingus’s Oh Lord, Don’t Let Them Drop That Atomic Bomb on Me for the album. A limited edition of signed Vinyls is now exclusively available at Kunsthaus Bregenz!

    Congratulations, Anna Jermolaewa!

    The artist is gonna represent Austria on the 60th Biennale in Venice in 2024. During the Summer 2022 Jermolaewa's work The Penultimate was already on display as a Diashow in front of the KUB and other works can be found in the KUB Collection.

    To accompany Anna Boghiguian’s exhibition Period of Change at Kunsthaus Bregenz (October 22, 2022 – February 19, 2023), a sensitively designed book has been created bearing Boghiguian’s signature style. The Book is now available in the Kunsthaus Bregenz and the KUB Webshop.
