Following the artist’s vision, Kunsthaus Bregenz is presenting an extraordinary series of events — a weekend of dreams and imagination, curated by Precious Okoyomon. Supplementing the exhibition is a diverse program featuring music, performances, and talks as well as contributions by renowned guest speakers from the fields of science, art, and literature.

Events Radical Dreamery
Divide and Dissolve – Concert
Born in Texas and raised in Melbourne, the multi-instrumentalist and composer Takiaya Reed is the head of the doom metal band Divide and Dissolve. She composed the sound for the second floor of Okoyomon’s exhibition in Bregenz.

the existential detective agency is a collaborative work between Precious Okoyomon, Bhanu Kapil and Christina Sharpe. The project aims to make the practice of psychoanalysis accessible to exhibition visitors. A conversation between Precious Okoyomon and Bhanu Kapil that delves deep into the existential themes of being human.
Dreaming with Bracha Ettinger and Precious Okoyomon
Bracha Ettinger, painter, psychoanalyst, and peace activist, and Precious Okoyomon take us on a performative dream journey: we delve into the depths of our consciousness and psyche, visit places of healing and reconciliation, and together we dream of a new world inhabited by human and nonhuman beings in peaceful coexistence.

You are warmly invited to the launch of the publication Precious Okoyomon – One Either Loves Oneself or Knows Oneself!
But Did You Die? – Reading by Precious Okoyomon
But Did You Die? is Okoyomon’s second volume of poetry – a interweaving of expressive poetry, experimental writing, and vivid illustrations. Following the reading, Okoyomon and KUB Director Thomas D. Trummer will talk about collecting favorite books and the transformative power of literature.
