Partners
Kunsthaus Bregenz's collaborations with other institutions and cultural organizations provide a valuable opportunity for networking and discourse. Jointly working with new partners, such as the Montforter Zwischentöne, Historische Schifffahrt, the poolbar festival, Philosophicum Lech, Sparkasse 3-Länder-Marathon, Vorarlberger Landesbibliothek, and Werkraum Bregenzerwald, proved highly successful.
The Bregenz Festival has been a long-term KUB partner. In 2017 the Opernatelier organized various Einblicke events at Kunsthaus Bregenz, providing insights into the creation of an opera, including concerts, talks, and readings. The Einblicke series culminated in the premiere of the operas To the Lighthouse (2017, composition by Zesses Selgias, designed by Jakob Kolding) and Wind (2021, composed by Alexander Moosbrugger, design by Flaka Haliti). Currently composer Éna Brennan, artist Hugo Canoilas and Regisseur Sir David Pountney are working on a new opera, which will premiere at the Bregenz Festival 2024.
Since 2017 Kunsthaus Bregenz collaborates with Philosophicum Lech. Under the title Philosophieren im KUB, each year a philosophical tour through Kunsthaus Bregenz takes place during the duration of Philosophicum Lech.
