Dora Budor

KUB was developed on a site that was an inner-city wasteland. Following Dora Budor’s request to find the remaining “terrains vagues” of Bregenz, due to the dense concentration of real estate investment only six sites could be located by the staff of KUB, Stefan Wagner and Lisa Hann. In the early summer, they documented the sites in pictures. These six unremarkable pockets of the city are presented on the glossy advertising billboards.

The KUB billboards located on Seestraße, the main thoroughfare in Bregenz, are an integral part of Kunsthaus Bregenz’s program, extending each KUB exhibition into public space.
